Well, Trying to get used to this whole blogging thing. The best way to learn of course is to immerse yourself in the medium. So here goes…. First of all, I can’t thank all of you enough for patronizing and supporting LessonWorks. Things are going well, and I am so grateful for the privilege to know and work with you all. You make my life very meaningful and I honestly can’t wait to get to work and start teaching. That said I’m hoping to figure out a way to post student recordings and compositions as well as photos. I’m hoping too that there will be a way for you to post files as well, once I figure out how this all works. I’m working with my “I.T.” guy and we’re still getting the bugs out. Also, I would appreciate any feedback from all of you, (students and parents), about what you’d like to see more of or less of at LessonWorks. My goal is to serve all of you as best I can, and any suggestions on how I could improve are welcome. Also if you like what I am doing it wouldn’t bother me to hear about that either! I would also like to remind everyone of “LessonJam”, an open Jam Session for young musicians of all ages. Music is meant to be shared and if you’ve never played with a full band, it’s a blast!! Don’t be shy, all of you are a lot better at music than you give yourself credit for sometimes. So….. give it a try! What’s the worst that could happen? I will be posting more about LessonJam on the site soon, but if you need more info feel free to call me @ 237-0810. LessonJam starts at 3 every Saturday and the cost is $10 per participant for the three hour group lesson/jam. If you bring someone new you get in for $5. For non-jammers it’s free! Well here goes Im going to see if I can post some files here……Ooops. No luck. I have some learning to do I guess. It would be great to hear from you!!! Thanks.
